Notifications and reports

Email notifications

Email notifications are batch emails that provide confirmation of email submissions. These notifications will contain the submission ID, subject, submitter email, and time the sample was submitted for every submission within the requested time frame. Domain Users can only receive notifications about their own submissions. Users that have ‘Domain Admin’ or ‘Domain Viewer’ permissions can receive notifications about their own submissions as well as notifications of submissions from all submitters on any domains where they have these advanced permissions.

Email notifications are turned OFF by default. Users must choose to opt-in and then will receive email notifications on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.

To opt-in to receive these notifications or to update existing notification settings, users can select the domains they wish to adjust the settings for and click the ‘Email Notifications and Reports’ dropdown. In order to change notification settings on domain-wide submission notifications the desired domain(s) must be selected via the checkbox in the row of the desired domain(s).

Users can also adjust notification settings per domain using the Email Notifications and Reports button within each domain row. These buttons use the same icon as the dropdown and are located in the right-most ACTIONS column of each domain row.

Email reports

Email Reports are batch emails that provide generated reports of submission data including total submissions within the selected time period, and a detailed breakdown of accepted versus rejected submissions, and submitted status versus status at the time of the report. Domain Users can only receive reports about their own submissions. Users that have ‘Domain Admin’ or ‘Domain Viewer’ permissions can receive reports about their own submissions as well as reports about submissions from all submitters on any domains where they have these advanced permissions. The reports will include the same data shown on the user’s Metrics page.
